Shipping & Delivery Settings

If you would adjust shipping settings in Spinstak eCommerce then you would follow these steps in EvoX:

What are shipping zones?

Shipping Zones represent a collection of destinations and shipping price rules. A Shipping Zone can be a large area or a very specific area.

  1. Navigate to the left-hand navigation bar.  
  2. Click on the Store Settings dropdown menu.  
  3. Select Shipping. 
  4. Select New Zone to create a new zone.  
  5. Name the shipping zone.
  6. Click the Create Zone button. 
  7. Once the shipping zone has been created click Add country. 
  8. Search and select the country where the shipping zone resides. Note: If you do not see the country where the shipping zone resides, navigate to Store Settings, locate the Available Countries section under the Site Profile tab, and select the country you need to add. 
  9. After you select the country, you will want to scroll down to Rules.  
  10. Click Add Rule. 
    1. This will show what shipping methods and pricing are shown to your customers.
  11. For the weight rule: 
    1. Enter in information such as minimum or maximum weight. 
    2. For example, to set up Standard Shipping: 
      1. Set the minimum weight range at 0 and maximum at 1000000.  
      2. Select delivery restrictions to Account Customers or Credit Card Customers. 
      3. Select Flat Rate. 
      4. Set your amount. For example: $15.99 
  12. For the price rule: 
    1. Enter in the information.  
    2. For example, to set up Standard Shipping: 
      1. Set the minimum price range at 0 and maximum at $1000000.  
      2. Select delivery restrictions to Account Customers or Credit Card Customers. 
      3. Select Flat Rate. 
      4. Set your amount. For example: $7.99 
  13. For the customs rule: 
    1. Enter the information to set your own rules. 
  14. If you have some customers that always have free delivery, you can simply override these rules by using the Delivery Override feature.  
  15. To access this, go into Customers > Accounts and simply edit the customer of your choice and turn delivery override on.

How this relates to Spinstak eCommerce:

  1. On the left side menu, click Store Settings. This will open a dropdown menu. 
  2. Under the dropdown menu, click Shipping Methods. 
  3. In the top right corner, click the ADD button. This will take you to the Shipping Method Information page. 
  4. Enter the name of the shipping method that will be displayed in your customer's cart into the Method Name field. Example: UPS Ground. 
  5. To set the order that your new shipping method will appear, enter the display order number into the Display Order field. 
  6.  If you'd like to charge a flat rate for your new shipping method, enter the shipping rate into the Base Rate field. 
  7. From the Country dropdown menu, select the country associated with your new shipping method. 
  8.  From the Shipping Type dropdown menu, select where your new shipping method will be allowed to ship from these options: 
    1. Commercial 
    2. Residential 
    3. Both 
  9. If you wish to hide the shipping price on your store, click the Hide Price checkbox. 
  10. If you wish to display a reason for hiding the shipping price, you can enter that into the Hide Price Reason text box. 
  11. Click the SAVE button.
