How to Create Extras

Learn how to add extras to your product details pages like spec sheets, images and more.

An extra can be any additional product information you'd like to add to a product details page. Spec sheets and sizing charts are some of the most common types of extras. Others include logos like Made in the USA.

1. First log in to your Admin Panel.

2. On the left-side menu, click Marketing

3. From the dropdown menu, click Extras. This will take you to the Extras page. Here you can create, view and update all of your extras.

4. To add an extra, select the Type of extra you'd like to add from the dropdown menu and click Create Extra.

You have several types of extras you can add. The steps required will vary based on the extra you've selected:

5. Type the name of the extra in the Name field. The name of the extra will only display in the Admin Panel and will not show up on your website.

Tip: Be sure to name the extra something specific so you can find it later.

6. Type the display title of the extra in the Display Title field. The display title will show as bold text at the top of the extra. This field is not required.

7. Under the Specific Catalog dropdown menu, choose the catalog you wish to apply the extra to.

Note: Some extras might be customer specific, such as a custom logo. Other extras such as a sizing chart, are not specific. Based on your needs, apply to ALL Catalogs or a Specific Catalog.

8. Under Display Image, click Choose File and select the image you want to display.

9. Click Save.

9. Under Display Image, click Choose File and select the image you want to display.

Now that an Extra has been created, be sure to associate it to a product or multiple products!
